The Illinois Senate today <a href="http://ilga.gov/legislation/BillStatus.asp?DocTypeID=SB&amp;DocNum=977&amp;GAID=12&amp;SessionID=85&amp;LegID=70662">approved a pilot program</a> to provide translators for jurors.</p><p>Illinois law currently says jurors must be able to "understand the English language."
